Our Past, Present & Future
Bidna Capoeira was founded in January 2010 building on the experience and success of our sister organisation CapoeirArab.
The CapoeirArab team, led by Tarek Alsaleh, run social programs in schools, reformatories, hospitals and refugee camps across Syria.

Our Dreams
When we started Bidna Capoeira, we couldn't help ourselves from dreaming. These are some of our hopes for the future:
- To offer 'Free 4 Kids' classes all over the world
- To work on a youth integration projects in areas of conflict and racial tension
- To be able to send promising young capoeira trainers to Brazil to learn
- To be a leader in results reporting and transparency
- To be recognsied and respected by the international NGO community
- To run collaborative, hollistic projects with other NGOs
- To have sustainable schools run by local people only
- To be publicly supported by all international capoeira schools
- To have every employee positive & happy with their job
